Formed in 2010, the TASCO Hall of Honor seeks to recognize the most outstanding career achievements by its member coaches. Purposely organized as a Hall of “Honor,” candidates must display the highest level of ethics and contributions to the game as mandated in the UIL Sportsmanship Manual:
Hall of Honor Nominees should exemplify the highest moral character, behavior and leadership, adhering to strong
ethical and integrity standards.
• Set a good example for players and spectators to follow.
• Abide by and teach the rules of the game in letter and in spirit.
• Display modesty in victory and graciousness in defeat in public and in talking with the
media.
• Respect the integrity and judgment of game officials, coaches and players.
As the greatest and most honorable coaches demonstrate success, both off and on the field, HoH candidates should hold at least 350 points, based upon the following standards. They should also demonstrate active participation as positive, contributing representatives of TASCO,have at least 15 years of membership and have reached the age of 50:
Wins - 1 point per win
TASCO Executive / Officer Board Service - 5 points per year
TASCO General Board Service - 3 points per year
TASCO Membership - 1 point per year after 15 years
