L. Warren Cottle - Colleyville Heritge High School
Coach Cottle has served as the the Region I Representative, Vice President, President and Past President of TASCO. During that time he was a part of an amazing group of people that saw major growth for the organization as well as oversaw major improvements to the organization continuing the fine work of those who served before him. In addition, he has taught satellite clinics for TASCO in El Paso for coaches that could not make the TASCO clinic. He has been the Region I Coach of the year for girls and has coached the All Star game many times for Region I.
He has coached at Midland, Odessa, Pampa , San Angelo and is now the boy’s coach at Colleyville Heritage. This gives him a unique perspective of Region I as a whole. In addition, he ran the Region I Regional Tournament for 6A for UIL this past year in addition to helping host the regional tournament as long as it has been held in Midland.
Outside of High School,he has his National “A” coaching license, has coached all levels of soccer including U-4 recreational to U-19 club, was a volunteer assistant for the women's program at Angelo State University, works with North Texas in the ODP and Coaching Education departments teaching the old G license to the National “D” coaching licenses, and was the Head Coach for the PDL team West Texas Sockers. He is currently coaching club soccer in addition to his high school program.
The reason that he wishes to get back in is to continue to support high school coaches in the State of Texas through helping to continue to support the great efforts that the current board has made to this organization. TASCO has been an important part of his career and his life for many years.
